A House of Assembly aspirant in Kogi State, Hon. Matthew Ochada (HMO), has commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for the appointment of Alh. Suleiman Ibrahim as a Permanent Secretary in the state civil service.

Hon. Ochada, who is seeking to represent Omala Local Government Area in the Kogi State House of Assembly, described the elevation of Ibrahim, until recently the Director General of Protocol at the Government House, as “well-deserved and timely.”
In a statement issued to journalists, the aspirant noted that Alh. Ibrahim’s appointment reflects a recognition of competence, loyalty, and years of dedicated public service.
“This elevation is a clear reward for hard work and professionalism. It also demonstrates the governor’s commitment to strengthening the administrative architecture of the state through capable hands,” he said.
He further applauded Governor Ododo’s leadership style, particularly his emphasis on merit and continuity in governance, stressing that such decisions would enhance efficiency in the state’s public service.
Hon. Ochada expressed confidence that Alh. Ibrahim would justify the trust reposed in him, adding that his experience in protocol and government operations would be invaluable in his new role.
“On behalf of my team of supporters, I congratulate Alhaji Suleiman Ibrahim on this well-earned appointment and wish him success in the discharge of his responsibilities,” he added.
