The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has warned Nigerians against a fake and unauthorised website circulating online and falsely presenting itself as an INEC Ad-hoc Staff Recruitment Portal 2026. In a public notice issued on Tuesday, the Commission said the website — okripeti.org/Inec-ADhoc-Sta… — has no link whatsoever with INEC, stressing that all information, data and application forms hosted on the platform are false and deliberately designed to defraud unsuspecting members of the public. The Nigerian Army has announced the commencement of applications for the Direct Short Service Commission Course 29/2026, inviting eligible Nigerians to apply for commission as officers.
